The Institute for Jaques-Dalcroze Education is an itinerant summer program held at various locations around the
United
State
, which provides hands-on experience of the
Jaques-Dalcroze
method: Eurhythmics, Solfege, and Improvisation, as well as
Jaques-Dalcroze
pedagogy and philosophy.
Through direct experience in the Jaques-Dalcroze Method, one gains new insights into music and develops unique skills, strategies, and inspiration for music performance and teaching. The summer program prepares candidates for the examinations, which leads to the Jaques-Dalcroze Teaching Certificate.
The Jaques-Dalcroze Teaching License examinations may be granted to individuals who have completed the Jaques-Dalcroze Certificate and a one-year residency with
